How it works

One enquiry. Operators compete. You save.

FareFind is a quote marketplace, not a taxi firm. We put your journey in front of licensed London minicab operators and they come back with their best fixed prices. Here's the whole process.

How it works

Three steps, one thread.

01

Send your enquiry

Fill in the quote form — pickup, airport, date, time, passengers, luggage. It opens WhatsApp with everything pre-filled. Press send and you're done.

No account. No app to install beyond WhatsApp. Nothing is sent until you press send.

02

Compare your quotes

Your enquiry goes to licensed minicab operators covering your route. They reply with fixed prices — usually within minutes during normal hours.

Every quote is a real, bookable price. No estimates that mysteriously grow at checkout.

03

Book direct

Pick the quote you like and confirm directly with that operator. They take your booking, send driver details and handle payment their way.

FareFind adds nothing to your fare. The operator's price is the price.

Why WhatsApp?

Because it's where quotes, questions and confirmations can live in one thread you already use. You can ask an operator about child seats, larger vehicles or waiting time and get a straight answer from the people actually driving you — not a call centre.

Who quotes on my journey?

Licensed private hire operators covering Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. Licensing means the operator, the driver and the vehicle are registered with a licensing authority — the same standard any legal minicab firm in England must meet.

How is FareFind free?

Operators pay us for introductions — travellers never pay a penny. That fee comes out of the operator's margin, not added to your fare. It's why our quotes can undercut apps that take 25%+ commission on every ride.

What if no quote suits me?

Walk away — there's no obligation. You've lost two minutes, not a deposit. Most travellers get several competitive quotes, but the decision is always yours.

FAQ

Before you ask.

Do I have to pay a deposit through FareFind?

No. FareFind never takes payment from travellers. Payment terms are agreed directly with the operator — most take card, cash or bank transfer on the day, and some ask for a small deposit for large vehicles or peak dates.

Can I book a return journey?

Yes — just mention it in your WhatsApp thread. Most operators discount returns booked together, so it's worth asking for a return price in the same message.

Can I get a larger vehicle or a child seat?

Yes. Set your passenger and luggage counts in the form, then mention anything extra — child seats, wheelchair access, an estate or 8-seater — in the chat. Operators quote for the vehicle you actually need.

How do I cancel or change a booking?

Message the operator you booked with — it's their booking. Ask for their cancellation terms when you confirm; most are flexible with reasonable notice.

Two minutes now. A better fare later.

Send your journey to licensed operators and see what comes back.
